The Spiritual Cupcake Podcast

GPS is a suggestion and our free will guides the way

Episode Summary

A simple drive to the paint shop sparked a bigger thought about life: what if we treated divine guidance a little more like our GPS? We may have an idea of where we're headed, but we don't always know every turn, detour, or surprise that will get us there. In this episode, Candace explores the beautiful balance between being guided and having free will—and how the unknown twists and turns may actually be what makes the journey so enjoyable.

Episode Notes

Have you ever had a destination in mind, but no idea exactly how you’re going to get there?

Today, a simple drive to the paint shop reminded Candace that life works much the same way. Just like our GPS can offer several different routes to the same destination, our own journey can unfold in ways we never could have planned.

We may have a vision for where we’re going, but we don’t always need to know every turn along the way.

Whatever you call it—God, the Universe, Divine Source, or something else—there may be a greater GPS guiding us toward where we’re meant to go.

And we still have free will. We can take a different turn, make a choice, explore a detour, or even take the long way around.

Maybe the magic isn't knowing exactly how we'll get there. Maybe the twists, turns, surprises, and unexpected roads are what make the journey worthwhile.

So today, consider this your little reminder to trust your GPS, be willing to take the long way around, and leave a little room for the surprises along the way.
